Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast market opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for clients navigating AI ethics, climate adaptation, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-proof business models and innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations translating complex scenarios into executive insights
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Advose on policy implications of emerging technologies for governments and NGOs
- Drive Horizon Dynamics' thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote speaking engagements
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism-related field
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical discipline
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of published futurism work
- Experience advising C-suite on technology-driven transformation
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) preferred
- Fluency in emerging tech ecosystems and sustainability frameworks
