- Produce trend reports and white papers establishing thought leadership in future tech domains
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with tech focus
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to non-technical audiences
- Track record of developing multi-year strategic frameworks adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership on future technology or societal transformation
