- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and business strategy
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation hubs
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data modeling and simulation
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership teams
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and trend impact analysis
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Experience facilitating high-stakes strategic planning sessions with executive teams
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation strategy preferred
