Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-proof business models
- Present findings to stakeholders at industry conferences and board meetings
- Mentor junior futurists and build the department's research capabilities
- Monitor global signals (geopolitical, technological, environmental) for early warnings
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of anticipating market disruptions (e.g., AI, climate tech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals
- Strong network with futurist communities (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Certification in strategic foresight or systems modeling preferred
