Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy roadmap
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to align futuristic initiatives with commercial objectives
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging domains
- Present trend forecasts to board members and key stakeholders
- Manage a $15M R&D budget for experimental ventures
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience building and scaling high-impact R&D teams
- Strong financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities
