Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological shifts, and socioeconomic indicators to inform 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario-planning models for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership reports and white papers on future industry transformations
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-facing insights into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Maintain a proprietary foresight database tracking emerging signals and inflection points
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven experience developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP, CFP) or equivalent training
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful strategic transformations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
