Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and market opportunities
- Architect scenario-planning models for geopolitical, technological, and environmental disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives and innovation ROI
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven track record developing long-term strategic frameworks (5+ year horizons)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights
- Published thought leadership in foresight, strategy, or technology trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems and futurist communities
