As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will be the first line of defense for our employees' technical needs, ensuring business continuity and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Perform troubleshooting on workstations, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer peripherals and mobile devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex technical escalations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, printers, and basic hardware repair.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
