Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory requirements.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and technical steps taken in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Perform regular system maintenance and software updates.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and setting up their workstations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize multiple tickets effectively.
- Must be reliable and able to work within the specified Virginia Beach time zone.
