Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and remote access.
- Manage and resolve hardware and software incidents, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform system maintenance and updates during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts proactively.
- Assist in the deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to optimize infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle weekend shifts as required.
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and security best practices.
