Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate build and deployment processes.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, including VPC configuration, EC2 instances, and Lambda functions.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to improve application performance and stability.
- Maintain security best practices and compliance standards across all environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role with a focus on hourly compensation structures.
- Strong proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
