Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and disruptive forces relevant to our industry
- Create executive-ready reports translating future scenarios into strategic priorities and investment recommendations
- Partner with product and R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic insights to board members and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Develop and implement organizational futurism capabilities through training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis tools
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience leading cross-cultural, global teams in high-growth environments
