As the architect of our 2026 vision, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities, develop scenario-based strategies, and embed future-readiness into our DNA. You'll spearhead research initiatives, cultivate external partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators, and present compelling narratives that inspire organizational transformation.
Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections and technological inflection points
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, economic, and environmental uncertainties
- Translate future insights into product development priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Champion a culture of innovation through internal workshops and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 12+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (AI ethics, climate tech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities with tools like Delphi method
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leader in innovation journals or industry whitepapers
