Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Organize and stock inventory in warehouse shelves and storage areas to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and completeness.
- Package goods securely using appropriate materials and methods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Operate scanning equipment and inventory management software to track stock levels.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and safety targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and packaging.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to the Chicago, IL facility.
