Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate inventory management and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers and vendors to optimize shipping routes and reduce overall freight costs.
- Prepare and manage documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork, ensuring full compliance.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays to prevent bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse and operations teams to streamline loading, unloading, and storage processes.
- Analyze shipping data and performance metrics to identify trends and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are a plus.
