Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels using our modern Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate shipping documents and compliance with safety regulations.
- Optimize shipping routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Assist in training new hires on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse software or inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
