We are looking for a self-starter who can troubleshoot complex issues with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of local and network hardware and software systems.
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, network, and software issues.
- Respond to and resolve critical tickets escalated from the help desk during off-hours.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and security updates.
- Document all technical interactions, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to plan maintenance windows and system upgrades.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols and company IT policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) is a plus.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
