Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and patrols to prevent security breaches
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations per protocol
- Screen visitors and vehicles at access control points
- Prepare detailed incident reports and shift documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year security experience in commercial environment
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification preferred
