Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely load and unload trucks, verifying inventory against shipping documents.
- Sorting and Staging: Sort, organize, and stage merchandise according to location and priority.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as certified.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks to ensure accuracy.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to read and understand labels and instructions.
