Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload freight trucks in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and organize inventory to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders while maintaining high safety standards.
- Forklift Operation: Certify and operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required for daily tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a secure environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety logs and order pick lists.
