Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations and team assignments during assigned shifts
- Train and mentor new staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate efficient loading/unloading processes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Resolve operational issues and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate shift documentation
- Support quality control initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent
