Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip architectures
- Create quantum software development frameworks and APIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum solutions
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and publish research findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed quantum papers
