Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence and error correction protocols
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and simulation platforms
- Translate quantum computational advantages into industry-specific solutions
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of publishing in top quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in complex system design and optimization
