Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum systems beyond current NISQ limitations
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Collaborate with materials scientists to engineer novel quantum processor components
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-level executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or qubit stability
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record leading quantum hardware development projects
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography and post-quantum security standards
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or photonic quantum systems
