What You'll Accomplish:
You'll lead the conceptualization and implementation of quantum algorithms, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve complex optimization problems, and develop scalable quantum architectures capable of solving problems currently deemed impossible. Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026 industry challenges
- Lead research teams in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Create technical documentation and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards (NISQ, Fault-Tolerant, Post-Quantum)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in designing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
