Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Lead research on quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Create technical documentation and patents for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design and quantum hardware integration
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket) and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex quantum concepts
