Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Lead hardware-software co-design efforts to reduce qubit decoherence rates below 0.1%
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and industry partnerships for quantum research
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography transition
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
