Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for 2026 deployment
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing grants and partnerships
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Develop quantum computing curriculum for industry upskilling initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proven track record of securing federal R&D funding (NSF/DOE/DARPA)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Prior commercialization of quantum technologies
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Active Q# or Python quantum simulation certification
