Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography simulation and optimization
- Lead a team of quantum physicists and software engineers in research initiatives
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at major tech conferences
- Develop partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
- Create roadmaps for quantum integration into existing AI/ML frameworks
- Secure research grants and manage multi-million dollar R&D budgets
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing research projects
- Strong knowledge of current quantum hardware limitations and opportunities
