Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum-resistant security protocols
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Secure funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional quantum computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit Aer, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
