Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubit systems and quantum error correction
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen security systems
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or trapped-ion systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and teams
