Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for pharmaceutical and finance industries
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing best practices

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier-1 institution
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, group theory, and probability
- Experience securing federal research grants and managing academic-industry partnerships
