Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation in quantum computing methodologies
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum threats and develop defensive quantum protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with quantum simulators and real quantum hardware platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to tackle abstract mathematical concepts
