Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum error correction protocols for scalable qubit systems
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms targeting optimization and simulation breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for 2026 quantum computing milestones
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standardization
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Present findings at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum entanglement or topology
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control systems (cryogenics, microwave engineering)
- Demonstrated success in scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Security clearance eligibility for DoE quantum projects
- Experience with ML-accelerated quantum circuit optimization
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit assembly languages
