Job Description
The Future of Intelligence Starts Here.
We are seeking a visionary Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join our elite team in San Francisco. As we look toward the horizon of 2026, we are building the autonomous systems that will redefine human-machine interaction. You will lead the charge in developing intelligent agents capable of complex reasoning, multi-step planning, and autonomous execution in dynamic environments.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and production-grade software engineering. You will work with state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) and Reinforcement Learning to create systems that don't just answer questions, but take action.
Responsibilities
- Architect Autonomous Agents: Design and implement robust agentic frameworks that utilize LLMs for complex decision-making and task execution.
- Optimize Inference Pipelines: Build high-performance, scalable systems for model serving and prompt optimization to ensure low-latency responses.
- Multi-Modal Integration: Integrate vision, audio, and text data streams to create agents capable of perceiving and understanding the world.
- Tool Use & API Integration: Engineer agents capable of autonomously interacting with external APIs, databases, and software tools to complete real-world tasks.
- Ethical AI & Safety: Implement guardrails and safety protocols to ensure agent behavior aligns with ethical guidelines and prevents hallucinations.
- Research & Prototyping: Experiment with cutting-edge research papers to translate novel AI concepts into practical, deployable code.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years focusing on Machine Learning or AI systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Deep experience with LLMs (Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- System Design: Experience designing distributed systems and APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and debug intricate system failures.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
