Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of the core AI infrastructure for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Model Optimization: Spearhead research and development into model compression, quantization, and inference optimization to reduce latency and cost.
- Technical Strategy: Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, identifying key technologies and frameworks necessary for the 2026 vision.
- Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, researchers, and security experts to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into broader systems.
- Research Integration: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating new papers and technologies to incorporate them into our 2026 product suite.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML, specifically in building large-scale distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++ (CUDA programming is a plus).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing high-availability systems capable of handling petabytes of data.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with innovative, scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
