Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-performance software architectures for autonomous fleets, specifically optimized for Year 2026 safety protocols.
- System Validation: Lead the validation process to ensure all system components meet rigorous safety certifications and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Strategy: Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, prioritizing features that drive competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI researchers, hardware engineers, and product managers to integrate perception and decision-making algorithms into hardware.
- Code Excellence: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct deep-dive code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or architect role within the automotive, robotics, or aerospace industries.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in C++, Python, and experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Frameworks: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and distributed systems.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems and delivering robust solutions under pressure.
