Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic foresight roadmap using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to develop adaptive frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Deliver executive-level briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in exponential technology landscapes
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to capture cutting-edge innovations
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for measuring organizational agility in volatile futures
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or exponential technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
