Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market disruptions using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Author quarterly 'Future Now' reports with predictive models and strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ technological landscapes
- Manage AI-powered foresight platforms to identify non-obvious innovation pathways
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology publications
- Experience with foresight platforms like TrendHunter or Gartner Foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ technology impact analyses
