Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging global trends across technology, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscapes through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons, aligning with company objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-vision into development pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in at least two domains: AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Portfolio published in reputable futurist or industry publications
- Comfortable working in ambiguity with incomplete information
