Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to ideate next-gen products and services
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for emerging challenges (e.g., quantum computing integration, AI ethics frameworks)
- Build and maintain a comprehensive trend intelligence database using AI-driven analytics
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or similar) strongly preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
