Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotechnology, AI, quantum computing, and socio-technological convergence
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to map 5-10 year future scenarios and disruption vectors
- Translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops and cross-functional futures planning sessions
- Author thought leadership publications and scenario planning documents for industry stakeholders
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
- Integrate ethical foresight principles into all strategic decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused organizational strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., books, peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience with AI-driven foresight tools and data-driven trend prediction platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
