Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Author strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global innovation hubs
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in premier journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
