Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 12 emerging technology domains to inform 2026 strategic priorities
- Develop quantitative innovation frameworks using scenario planning and predictive modeling
- Partner with R&D to prototype minimum viable futures (MVF) for market validation
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports and executive briefings for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional sprints to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of future-ready capabilities
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field required
- Published research or patents in technology forecasting or innovation methodologies
- Experience leading cross-geographical teams in agile innovation environments
- Deep network of relationships with VCs, research institutions, and policy influencers
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation portfolio
