Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends through 2026 across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for executive leadership and board-level strategic decisions
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive briefings for Fortune 500 clients
- Design and facilitate futures-thinking workshops with cross-functional innovation teams
- Build and maintain proprietary foresight methodologies and trend-detection systems
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and collaborate with R&D on prototype validation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful scenario-planning frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner) preferred
