Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ horizon, identifying disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to prepare the organization for future market disruptions
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future trends into innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and strategic recommendations to the C-suite
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global forums
- Mentor junior strategists and champion a culture of future-oriented thinking
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of translating emerging trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, Business, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
