Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future trends
- Author predictive white papers and trend briefings for industry thought leadership
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments impacting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of publishing trend forecasts with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
