Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Produce high-impact trend analysis reports on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused research labs
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators to identify potential disruptors for 2026 market positioning
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
