Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Analyze manufacturing data and identify bottlenecks to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and design engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Maintain and update manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO standards).
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff on best practices and new manufacturing techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing engineering or process improvement role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
