Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum machine learning algorithms tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum circuit performance and error mitigation strategies.
- Conduct rigorous research to publish findings in top-tier academic journals and conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, Quantum Science and Technology).
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and software engineers within the Quantum AI division.
- Translate complex theoretical physics concepts into production-ready, optimized code using Python and C++.
- Define technical roadmaps for quantum integration into existing AI infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, development, or engineering roles within the AI or Quantum Computing space.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and quantum software stacks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or TensorFlow Quantum).
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from conception through to deployment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
